Climbing Wall Lead Award

‘Are you a Single Pitch Award or Climbing Wall Award holder?

Do you want to teach lead climbing on artificial walls anywhere in the UK?

This award was launched by The Mountain Leader Training Board in January 2010 and covers the skills needed to teach lead climbing on indoor and outdoor artificial walls.

• The SPA or CWA are required in order to register for this award.
• You must have led at least 50 climbs including some at 6a and logged sessions as an SPA and/or CWA.
• You must apply to the MLTB, with a non refundable application fee, and be accepted, before you can train for this award.
